SFIA names Keystone Certifications to run its code compliance certification program
The Steel Framing Industry Association appointed Keystone Certifications, Inc. to administer its updated Code Compliance Certification Program (C3P), which verifies that cold-formed steel framing products meet code.
On 1 July 2026 SFIA announced that Keystone Certifications will administer C3P. Keystone oversees product certification: testing validation, quality-management-system reviews, inspections and compliance verification for participating manufacturers.
Members had approved updates to the program earlier in the year, aimed at lowering compliance costs for manufacturers without reducing quality assurance.
Product certification is what makes a stud’s thickness, steel grade and coating verifiable rather than assumed.
